PLAYCARE

ACTIVITIES

At Big Fun We have a wide range of activities for kids

Jump Active Play

a.  Kids can jump, run and obstacle. Our facilities come with an inflatable bouncy house so kids can jump, climb and slide, getting them physically active to develop strong muscles, balance and control

Creative Play

a. Creative play is an important part in childhood and child development. Through creative and imaginative play children can grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and even physically. Creative experiences help a child develop these skills and enable them to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Exposing children to creative opportunities contributes to, and furthers their development. Coming up with ways to play creatively doesn’t have to be stressful or take a lot of time. In fact, over-structuring is the opposite of creative play. Every small step toward developing a child’s skills is a major milestone in their growth and happiness.

b. Creative Activities at Big Fun:

 Arts and Crafts

 Playing with Musical Toys
 Sand Art

 Clay Art

Babies/Tiny Tots (2 years old and below) Explore Station

Younger kids need their own space and they also have their very specific needs. At Big Fun, We have a Tiny Tots explore station where this is just their own world. We have build a special obstacle course that is padded with maximum safety and security in mind. This is where they can freely climb, crawl, jump, balance and slide. They will also be protected from bigger kids that might be a bit more active than they are. We understand that these Tiny Tots need to have their own learning space and to be able to go at their own pace.

Pretend Play

Young children often learn through imagination and play. We are sure you have seen your kids imagine they were a superhero or have picked up a toy and pretended they were characters in their own story. This is when your kids are using an object to represent something else while giving it motion and action. This is “PRETEND PLAY”. This can bring so many social, emotional, intellectual and language benefits to your child. At Big Fun, we want to be able to Nurture Young Minds’ Imagination and allow them to create their fantasy world through play.

Facilities for Pretend Play include :

Reading Station

When it’s time to wind down a bit after a few minutes of super active play, we have a reading station with tons of children’s books for your kids to read and scan through.

FAQS

Can I leave my kids without a Yaya?

Yes, you may. For kids 30 months and below, it is required that you have your own yaya or guardian with your child at all times. For kids 3 years old above, if they are able to go potty by themselves, then you may leave them without a yaya or a guardian

What do my kids have to bring?

They have to bring their own snacks or meals or have it sent over. We will make sure they will eat. Don’t worry if ever they want food, we have sandwiches and food for sale. They also need to bring at least one set of extra clothes so we can make sure they are changed when they are wet. We suggest 2 extra t-shirts, a small towel and an extra pair of shorts. Socks must be worn at all times. We discourage you to let your kids bring their own toy, we have enough here that they can play with

How early can I drop them off?

We open at 8 AM so you can drop them off as early as 8AM. We highly encourage parents to pick up their kids at 9PM the latest.

Can I pay daily or weekly rates?

Yes you may – You can download our rate sheet here for options. Or you can fill out the form and one of our friendly associates will give you a call to discuss what works best for you and your budget.

Who will take care of my kids?

We have a Staff Nurse on duty at all times. Also all our Big Fun Attendants are Certified in Basic Life Saving and are highly trained in Child Care and Early Child Development. Most are mothers also so we understand how you would want to take care of your kids as we do with ours.

What will they be doing?

They have a wide range of things they can do. We have Active PLay, Creative Play, Musical Play, Pretend Play. One thing they will not have here at Big Fun is Screen Time. We are an advocate of #AntiScreentime Movement and we encourage kids to use their imagination and socialization skills for play.

How many attendants do you guys have?

We have plenty. We will maintain a 1:4 child/attendant ratio. We want you to have peace of mind and this is what we will do to keep it that way

Is there a limit to how many kids are there?

Yes, we have a 25-kid limit at all times. We want to make sure we maintain the integrity of our promise of Kid Safety and Security so we must maintain a limited number of kids.

If something is wrong with my kid, will there be a person that will contact me?

Yes, this is why we ask for your contact details. Whenever we need to, one of our Managers or staff will contact you immediately.
